Teachers will develop personal and social learning environments using a variety of technologies with the purpose of benefiting themselves and others in their respective content areas. Specifically teachers will develop an online portfolio that will document their professional growth during the academy. Teachers will also learn strategies for using technology to extend their learning beyond the academy and become 21st century leaders. Technologies will include social, collaborative, and resource sharing platforms that are free and easily accessible in K-12 schools.
