As Found in 2011

Our Commander 42 had three owners up to 2011, and the last two were older gentlemen who only used her as a liveaboard. The boat had 650 hours on the Hobbs meters when we acquired her in July of that year. The following pictures document the condition of the vessel at that time.

The original GE refrigerator was still working, but barely. The Home Depot pine paneling wasn't particularly "yachty."

The V-berth hadn't been used as a "berth" for a very long time.

The toilet for the forward head had been removed and replaced with a portapotty.

The storage area below the galley was packed full of all sorts of mysterious "valuables."

The reverse cycle AC units were there but reportedly didn't work.

The main power panel was original and only set up for one 30amp shorepower line.
