There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub scout.
You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like first aid, orienteering, knots and lashes, and even pioneering (building things out of wooden poles using those knots and lashes you have learnt). If you do the activities properly you will even get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.
Cub Scouts also get to go on go on camps, this will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of fun outdoor activities you don't normally get to try.
Here at the 15th the Cubs will work together towards their Silver Scout award as well as a whole host of other badges. It's not all work either, the cubs play plenty of games and undertake loads of activities away from the Scout hall - especially when the weather is good!
Nearly all our Cub Scouts move on to the Scout troop and so far they have all been very well prepared for the transition.
Most of our badges are earned through the various meeting activities and camps that we host. However, you can also do some homework if you you want to top up the badges on your arm....
We have a wonderful Youtube channel that has many videos that walk you through the Cub badge requirements in a fun and engaging way ,so why not take a look at and let us know how you get on
