First IAC Bees Practice Session – October 27, 2026

We are excited to kick off our first IAC Bees practice session of the 2026–27 season!

We will begin with a short presentation on how to prepare for the Geography and History Bees, followed by an engaging quizzing session featuring an equal mix of History, Geography, and Science questions.

Whether your child is new to the Bees or has participated before, this practice session is a great opportunity to learn, practice, and build confidence. All students are welcome!

Young Minds Shine at the IAC Regional Bees!

We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our young scholars who participated in the Red Set Fall Regional of the IAC Bees held in San Francisco on October 24, 2026!

Representing our school with enthusiasm and curiosity, Aaradhya Murugavel (Grade 2), our youngest participant, emerged as a finalist in the Geography Bee. Viaan Daga (Grade 3) participated in the Science Bee, showcasing her interest in scientific learning. Aarthi Murugavel was a finalist in both the Science and Geography Bees, demonstrating her knowledge across multiple subjects.

Adding to the excitement, Dev Mocherla secured 2nd place in the Geography Bee and 3rd place in the History Bee, earning recognition for his outstanding performance.

Congratulations to all our participants for their hard work, dedication, and love of learning! We are proud of their accomplishments and wish them continued success in their academic journeys.

Bee Info Session – October 7, 2026: Event Highlights

Thank you to all the families who joined us for the Sinnott PTA IAC Bees Information Session on October 7, 2026!

It was wonderful to see students and parents come together to learn about the exciting academic opportunities offered through International Academic Competitions (IAC).

A special thank you to Milpitas High School Quiz Bowl Club team and Tejus Karadi, for presenting information about the 2026–27 IAC Geography, History, Science, and Academic Bees and Bowls, including competition formats, regional tournaments, National Championships, and preparation opportunities.

We hope the session encouraged more Sinnott students to explore academic quizzing and become part of our growing Bee community.

Bee Info Session (Oct 7, 2026)

Over the years, Sinnott students have not only participated in the International Academic Competitions (IAC) Geography, History, Science, and Academic Bees, but have also earned medals at the regional, national, and international levels.

For many families, their journey into academic quizzing and IAC competitions began with a Sinnott PTA IAC Bees information session. Join us to learn more about IAC, its academic competition programs, and how students can get involved.
