Sinnott PTA IAC Bees Program – 2025–26 Year in Review
Sinnott PTA IAC Bees Program – 2025–26 Year in Review
The Sinnott PTA IAC Bees program has continued to spark a love of learning through quizzing in a growing number of kids each year. The program began with a single Sinnott student participating in the Geography Bee and has now expanded so that students compete in most disciplines that International Academic Competitions (IAC) offers.
The 2025–26 school year drew a record number of Sinnott participants in both IAC Regionals and the Nationals event. IAC conducted various regional events within the Bay Area during the school year, and also held multiple online events that allowed kids to participate and qualify for Nationals. The Elementary & Middle School (EMS) Nationals were held in Orlando, FL, from May 21–25, 2026.
While winning feels great, the Sinnott program emphasizes learning and personal growth over winning as the ultimate goal.
