Part of HERE4Justice's mission is to engage in a structural analysis of inequalities to understand health inequity. Our Summer 2021 campaign aimed to dive into an analysis of sexual health and reproductive rights that would bring reproductive justice to the forefront. We shared important terms, perspectives, and challenges related to reproductive justice that are important to understand in our efforts to advance health equity and social justice.
Reproductive justice is "the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities." –SisterSong
