Teaching & Learning technology or software at Simmons College comes in, essentially, three flavors:

Enterprise level software: These software titles are purchased and fully supported by Simmons Technology and are available to the entire Simmons community.

Department or School-specific software: These software titles are purchased by a department or a school and are usually used within a specific program or school. Support for this type of software is initially housed in the department that procured the software and Simmons Technology will also provide an as-best-as-possible level of support when possible.

Open Source software: The variety of open source software titles freely available to the teaching and learning community can fill a room. Support for these software titles are handled by the user of that software. Simmons Technology will assist as best as possible within the scope of current workload.
