14th of April

On the last day of the first week in Greece, we went on a family trip to Kalavryta. The trip took an hour and a half. First we went to a monastery that was built on the side of a mountain. Later we went to a memorial to people who were killed by Nazism. Then, we went to the town to visit  which was 5 minutes from the memorial. I and Ashimina's parents went to an exhibition where she explained what happened in Kalavryta when the Nazis attacked it. I enjoyed learning about the story and was shocked that the military killed 14 year olds. Afterwards, we all had lunch together at a restaurant that was about 30 minutes from the town. We got home around 7:30 pm. We rested a bit and at 9 o'clock Lia, Ashimina, Kat and I went to play tennis. It was the second time I played tennis in my life and I enjoyed a lot! We were there for an hour and at 10. Later I returned home and I took a shower. Finally I had dinner. We ate different types of crepes, sweet and salty.
