Social media: a clandestine enemy

In today's digital age, social media has become an important part of our daily lives. However, this constant need for entertainment and validation has led to the majority of young people struggling with directions.
Can we do something about that, or are we doomed? Of course we can, and it all starts with ourselves. Creating boundaries to restrict ourselves from indulging in unwanted activities is of great importance as is abiding with them. This can include setting time limitations to prevent our phone from cagimg and killing our previous time. By staying loyal to these boundaries, one can protect their time and peace of mind.
Moreover, engaging in offline activities that bring us closer to the real world and make us feel fulfilled and content can be extremely helpful. Whether it is spending time with loved ones, taking up new hobbies or exercising can held reduce one's need to be on their phone or use social media.
Nonetheless, social media is not entirely and purely evil, and it shouldn't be treated is such way. When used with caution and moderation, it does not pose a direct threat to us. At the end of the day, social media is also a quick and efficient way to communicate with our friends.
Taking everything into consideration, there are numerous solutions for every problem, but one must feel the need to find them. From setting boundaries to discovering new ways to spend our time, breaking free from addictions is vital for our well-being and peace of mind.
