Tutoring Sessions

While walk-ins are welcome, we cannot guarantee that a tutor will be available without a scheduled appointment time. Please schedule your appt. well before your assignment deadline to ensure that there is adequate time to work through the writing process and make your essay the best it can be!

To schedule an appointment, you can either:

1. email us at writingcenter@silverdaleba.org

2. drop by the Writing Center (located in the Upper School Library) to schedule a time

Please include as many details as possible in your email/in-person request. Having details ahead of time will help us maximize your tutoring session time and assist in setting you up with the right tutor. Examples of details to include are as follows:

• what class the assignment is for

• what aspect of the essay you would like feedback on (ie. thesis statement, brainstorming ideas for a topic)

• what stage of the writing process you are in (ie. I have written the essay, but need help proofreading.)

Group Workshops

To reserve a spot for any of the workshops you see on the calendar below, just email us or swing by to sign up! If there is a workshop you would like to see us offer, please email those ideas and we will work on setting that up.
