MLA is the writing style that we will teach and expect students to utilize with most papers and projects (teacher will specify otherwise). It is one of the major writing styles that is taught and required in most College Composition classrooms. Purdue Owl is perhaps one of the most helpful online resources for answering MLA questions. It contains information about everything from how to construct a Works Cited Page to specifics about in-text citation. If you prefer to have a hard copy resource, two great handbooks are the The Everyday Writer (with 2016 MLA update) and The Bedford Handbook (also available in e-book).
