Model 1 - Traditional, School-Hosted
Students interested in applying to a Model 1 project can apply directly to the project using the application form linked below.
Students are welcome to apply to more than one project, but must submit different applications. This will increase their likelihood of getting a final placement. The applications will ask students to identify additional projects to which they are applying, if applicable.
All applications are due January 23, 2026, and final decisions for these projects will be released in late February.
If you have any questions about these projects, please contact the respective project coordinator (s) and Amanda Codina, Director of Student Programs & Special Initiatives, at acodina@shusc.org.
We encourage students to answer application questions in a separate document and then copy the information into the application when they are ready to apply, to avoid losing it.

Model 2 - Traditional, School-Hosted
Projects under this model are meant for schools to collaborate with the lead school. These projects have a lead coordinator from the organizing school and have a select number of spots for other Network schools to participate with a group from their school.
Schools interested in participating must select a coordinator from their staff who will work with the lead coordinator and others to support the project and serve as the primary point of contact for their school group. Selected schools will bring their own group and work collaboratively with the lead coordinator.
Individual students or faculty may not apply to these projects. Only schools interested in collaborating and participating with a group of adults and students from their school community.
All applications are due January 23, 2026.
If you have any questions on these projects, please contact the respective project coordinator(s) and Amanda Codina, Director of Student Programs & Special Initiatives - acodina@shusc.org.
