VIABILITY

Pre-Employment Transition Services

VIABILITY is an organization that believes individuals with disabilities and other societal disadvantages are an essential resource for our country’s future. The mission is to help build a world in which individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages realize their full potential. Students between the ages of 14 and 21 and potentially eligible to receive ACCES-VR services are able to participate in VIABILITY’s innovative pre-vocational program funded by ACCES-VR. In order to pave the way to employment, Pre-ETS (Pre-Employment Transition Services) provides vocational exploration, soft skills training, instruction in self-advocacy skills, job exploration counseling, counseling on post-secondary education options, and a range of competitive, integrated, and vocational experiences.

VIABILITY’s Pre-ETS program is designed to support students as they transition from school into adult life. Services are designed to give students an introduction to work that will allow them to become an active participant in their transition and vocational planning.
