WRITING TASKS

For all writing tasks, especially when answering questions remember to

Restate the question  (use the words right from the question)

Answer the question (what is the question asking you, then answer it!)

Cite evidence. You MUST use details from the text, word for word, and cite these words....On page _____of ___________________________________________ (title and author of book, passage, article, etc.)

the author wrote (or other sentence starters)  "____________________." (This is needed to PROVE that the response is correct)

Explain your answer and include some of the details from the text.
