This year marks year 23...

Having been part of the Silas Wood Family since 2002, I can honestly say that being part of the staff has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

My three sons, Adam (WWHS 2010), Jeremy (WWHS 2012), and Nicholas (WWHS 2016) spent sixth grade at Silas and graduated from Walt Whitman, college, and on to careers.

Silas has always been an important part of my family with wonderful teachers who prepared them for life, including many who are still part of the staff.

We know this is a transitional year but promise it to be one that will help your children learn and grow.
