English Grading Policy

Team Cirillo's English grading policy will be:

Assessments: 30% (Tests and quizzes)

Writing: 30%

​Projects: 20%

Class Participation, Classwork and Assignment completion: 20%

The beginning of the year will include getting to know you activities, elements of stories, Vocabulary development, reading of The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B.White, and a great deal of writing. 

In the Spring, we will focus on Vocabulary development, figurative language and will read Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, and will continue to spend a great deal of time writing.
