ASSISTANCE DURING THE HOLIDAYS

Each school year the Oakwood Primary Center staff in conjunction with the Oakwood PTA and other sponsors have conducted several community service activities to assist families in need. We consider these activities essential in teaching children by example about generosity and compassion. This school year, we would like to donate $25 gift cards to a local supermarket and $25 gift cards to a local store. Even though this might only bring some temporary relief during the holidays, we consider your involvement in this heartfelt initiative will create a lasting effect on the families and children. We thank you in advance for your willingness to participate.

Families have been given information about local community agencies they can go to and receive additional assistance if needed. If you would like to donate to those agencies, please find them below. They accept non-perishable food items, household items and other basic need items such as baby food, toiletries and cleaning supplies.
