The Oakwood Primary Center in conjunction with the Oakwood PTA has has activities to assist families celebrating Thanksgiving and the December Holidays.

Thanksgiving:

For Thanksgiving, the second grade students participate en several activities to collect money and go shopping at a local supermarket as part of the leaning curriculum. The food bought at the supermarkets is brought back to the school building and the Oakwood PTA organizes thanksgiving boxes with the good collected. The boxes of food are brought to the district office for families to come and pick them up. If you are in need of assistance for Thanksgiving, please complete the attached form by clicking the link. Once I receive the form, you family will be added to the Thanksgiving assistance list and you will be notified when to come to the district office to collect the box of food. December:

For the December holidays, Oakwood Pamary Center organizes the "GIVING TREE". The Oakwood Primary Center, the Oawood PTA and community agencies contribute in adopting children and donating gifts for the December holidays. • Para esta fiesta los estudiantes de segundo grado realizan actividades para collectar dinero e ir a de compras a un supermercado como parte de su aprendisaje. La comidad comprada en el supermercado es puesta en cajas por los miembros del comite de padres de familia (PTA) y las cajas de comida son distruidas para families que necesiten.
