Welcome to my class website! Kindergarten is the beginning of your child's 1st year of formal education, and I would like to make it a great experience! This website will provide you with information about the Dual Language program and Kindergarten curriculum. In addition, I have provided access to educational websites, and parental resources. Hi! I'm Ms. DeNuzzo. I am the English side of a Dual Language side-by-side class at Oakwood Primary Center. I have been teaching at Oakwood since 2004. I have taught Kindergarten general ed., 1st grade, 2nd-grade Dual Language, and Kindergarten Dual Language. I am certified in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, and ENL. I love working with small children. Every day begins with smiles and an eagerness to learn. I have 3 grown sons, all of which I am VERY proud of! Now that they are all beginning their independent lives, I look forward to coming to school each day and helping my Oakwood children learn new things. It is so wonderful to watch children light up as they realize all that they can do!

Ms. Mena is my partner teacher. She teaches the Spanish side of our DL kindergarten class. Ms. Mena is my new partner teacher and I am so excited to work with her! She also loves working with small children and is excited to watch them learn and grow. We will collaborate daily to ensure your child transitions smoothly from learning one language to another. Watching your children learn to speak two different languages is so exciting!
