A biome is an area of the world which is categorized by the species of living things that exist naturally in that location. Climate (temperature range, seasons, weather patterns, etc.), and soil type (clay, sand, etc.), are often unique to a particular place and form the habitats for specific species to survive and grow in that place.
For Indigenous people, a biome determined how that group lived. Remember, GEO (geography) is an important factor of Influence for people around the world. The weather, landforms, plants and animals all play a part in what your daily life is like. WHERE you live influences HOW you live!!
