These workshops are designed to inspire curiosity, foster connections, and provide valuable insights into the opportunities awaiting them in the National FFA Organization.

What? Personal development starts with the individual. Through self-discovery of talents, strengths, interests and personal characteristics, students begin their journey down the road to uncovering their life's passion. Through GLC, students will be emerged in the Who, Why, What, Where, How and Impact they can experience in Agricultural Education. This conference focuses on "ME: one's personal skills and development of the ability to be successful."

Who? Sophomores
What? Once an individual knows who they are and the core values that guide their life choices, they can then start to branch out and build meaningful relationships with others. MFE is all about a student understanding who they are and how they can build trust, show vulnerability and give empathy in order to develop relationships to ultimately influence those around them. This conference is about "WE: knowing that leadership starts by first believing in ourselves in order to build our confidence to then serve others."

What? Once a leader is comfortable with their own self and self-purpose, they can discover how to work with others and accomplish a shared goal. The process for analyzing program needs and improving a project or event is the focus of this conference as students discover how to be teams of innovative leaders in their chapter. This conference about "DO: the individual leader, their relationships with others and how to enact change within their chapters and communities."

What? At California FFA’s capstone conference, individuals and teams are prepared to make things happen. Skills for solving problems, making decisions and accomplishing goals are developed. Students step into the role of one of California's State Legislators, are assigned a specific California district and spend four days in Sacramento. SLE is all about the role of government, agricultural policy and advocacy. This conference focuses on "DO: the ability of the individual leader and team to put their vision into action.”

What? The last line of the FFA motto reads, "Living to Serve." As growing leaders, we look to serve others in any capacity we can. The Change Makers Summit focuses on career skills, agricultural issues and leveraging personal abilities into workplace success! This conference focuses on "SERVE: accepting one's self as a leader, developing strong relationships with others and giving back to their communities and the world."

What? Over 7,000 high school students, advisors and guests attend the largest annual statewide Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) conference in California. The event attracts young agricultural leaders from 338 chapters from throughout California. The conference encourages students to develop personal and team leadership skills, discover agricultural careers, establish lasting friendships and strive for success.

Who? Current FFA members who are at least 14 years old (Seniors may attend the summer following graduation)
What? WLC provides the ultimate leadership experience for members of the National FFA Organization. This program is designed for those members who are ready to take their leadership skills to a higher level. WLC is a hands-on leadership conference that puts practical tools and valuable experiences into the hands of FFA members.
