Class Dojo
This is a school-hosted app where the admin, staff, and teachers communicate with families. Your student is automatically added to the system. The PTO will also send a notification. Lastly, the app features a calendar and sign-up function.
Groups.io is Shepherd Elementary's tool for parent-to-parent communication. Please use the link below to join the Main Shepherd Elementary groups.io for communication with the entire community.

Some parents have created informal WhatsApp groups to stay connected. Ask your room parent (or other parents) about this to see if there are any relevant for you.
The Room Parents use the groups.io listserve to distribute information to the school community, either in the main group listserve or in your class-specific group listserve. You need to be a member of the main group: https://shepherd-es.groups.io/g/main (go to that link and register by clicking "apply to membership"). After joining the main group, you can join the class-specific group, identified by your 5th-grade graduation year (e.g., the 1st-grade group is the class of 2030).
