UNEARTHED
The 2025-2026 season is Unearthed which is focused on an innovation idea that makes an archeologists job easier.
We program our bots using PYBRICKS SPIKE PRIME using a library. The Library has reusable code to make coding easier and more efficient. It is downloaded directly into our bots firmware, allowing us to import it as a module.
We use it for gyro, simple forward and turn functions, control attachment motors and sensors, and to easily change the velocity the bot goes at.
Our Innovation Project is a LiDAR, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and a magnetometer, mounted on a drone. It is named HERMES after the Ancient Greek God of Mapping Hermes.
