Cafeteria

All 1st through 5th Grades will eat lunch every day in the cafeteria.  Some students will bring their lunch from home, and some will buy lunch at school.  There is a hot lunch line and a deli line.  In the deli line, they serve sandwiches, soup and salad.  In the hot lunch line they serve different kinds of hot foods like Bosco Sticks, (which are like garlic cheese bread sticks, served with tomato sauce), hamburgers, popcorn chicken and tacos. 

Playgrounds

We have two playgrounds at Karigon.  One is for Kindergarten through Second Grade and the other is for Third Grade through Fifth Grade.  Both playgrounds are very fun.  We also have a kickball field and a basketball court and (new for 2024!) a Gaga Ball pit.

Karigon's One Book Initiative

Karigon's One Book is a chance for the WHOLE school to read the same book and talk about important topics.  Each Karigon classroom will read a book together, talk about why the book is important, and make a project!  You can see all of the fun and unique projects our students make all over the school.

Karigon's Outdoor Classroom

The Outdoor Classroom is an outdoor experience to learn about plants and animals.  We have benches for learning, and science gadgets to explore the pond and grasses area.  Sometimes we see birds and pond animals too!
