We are a small (but mighty) group of women working to raise as much funds as possible to award scholarships to any Mason County resident seeking an education within the medical field.

We established our guild in 1989 and at that time our goal was to donate funds or items to the hospital. One of our members, Kristi Armstrong, was an RN at Mason General Hospital. Her insight into the “little things” that patients or staff needed was our resource for projects and ideas of ways we could help.

In 2016 we lost Kristi. Her passion for her work, her patients and the hospital left a huge hole in our hearts and the staff at Mason General. Her untimely passing led to our unanimous decision to switch our goals from “stuff” to scholarships. In her honor we created the Centennial Guild Scholarship. We want to do what we can to help students ease the cost of their education in the medical field.

We offer scholarships to anyone living in Mason County. Our first criteria are the applicant must be studying in the medical field. Applicants can be of any age – whether just out of high school, in college, starting over in a new career or wanting to advance in their current position.

We sincerely hope that you will consider applying through our fillable application form. Application directions are on the form and need to be submitted by May 1, 2024

We are a 501(c)3 organization. If you have any questions about our group, our scholarship selection process or how we can help, please contact: Kim McElliott – centennialguild@yahoo.com and ask Susie for a copy of the offical applicaiton shwirzbicki@sheltonschools.org
