We are excited about keeping the “A” for Art in our
E³ STEAM competitions again this year. We cannot wait to see the amazing and dazzling hats that you will create!
Each team will enter the E³ competitions with the ringmaster’s hat to PLACE at their work site. It will be a creative display that reflects your team and the competition in which you are competing. The winning designs at each competition each day will be recognized at the award’s ceremony and will be placed on the website at the conclusion of the competition.
REQUIREMENTS:
Following Size Requirement
No shorter than 30 centimeters and no taller than 50 centimeters in height
No wider than 30 centimeters
Appearance and Creativeness
Attractiveness and Neatness of the Ringmaster’s Hat
Uniqueness and Purpose in the Design
Must be Original Artwork if included on the Hat (Students need to do the work!)
Explanation of the Ringmaster’s Hat
Description that explains each aspect of the hat such as why did you choose:
the colors, shapes, designs, materials, etc.?
Must reflect the theme of the E³ competition in which the team is competing
This explanation does not have to be ON the hat. It may be placed beside the hat for the judges to view. It can be neatly handwritten or typed and printed.
