Keynote speech and presentation given at the 15th ICAE, Qatar

The 15th International conference on applied energy (ICAE 2023), organised by Applied Energy, was held in Doha,Qatar from  3rd -7th December. ICAE 2023 aimed to address the interdisciplinary challenges related to the goal of a sustainable future. The conference theme is Energy Transition towards Carbon neutrality.  Applied Energy invited Prof M. Wang (USFD) to give a keynote speech on Day 2 of the conference (4th December). Prof M. Wang's Speech was on "Carbon capture, utilisation and Storage (CCUS) study through systems engineering techniques".

Also, Dr Hui Yan (XJTU) gave a presentation on "Thermodaynamic performance and CO2 emission characteristics of solar-aided coal-fired power plant under off-design conditions".
