Professor Meihong Wang visited Xi'an Jiatong University, China 

Prof M. Wang,  from the chemical and biological engineering, University of Sheffield, UK visited Xi'an  Jiatong University in China. During his time at Xi'an  Jiatong University, Prof. M. Wang  gave a research seminar on "Systems Engineering for CCUS Research" on 12th April, 2023. The seminar had around 60 audiences, mostly young academics, post doc and PhD researchers. Prof M. Wang gave another seminar on "Modelling, simulation, optimisation and control of Ethylene manufacturing" on 14th April, 2023. The seminar had around 45 audiences.

Prof M. Wang along with Prof J. Yan, Prof D. Chong, Dr Hui Yan visited a large scale (150,000 tons/year) CCUS plant (using solvent for carbon capture and captured CO2 for enhanced oil recovery). Prof M. Wang had several meetings with the resarch group at Xi'an Jiatong Univeristy on how various tasks will be delivered in great detail.
