About the project
Our project aim has been to collaboratively consider how the process of creative learning can be a joyful, transformative educational experience and an enriching approach to social research.
Our project objectives:
To co-plan and co-deliver student led workshops centred around joyfulness in education and research;
To reflect upon how our participatory and student led workshops might enable a creative and joyful pedagogy;
To develop an exhibition that showcases joyful education and research, supporting research skills as a graduate attribute.
To capture a workshop plan around joyful pedagogy and methods
To co-author a blog post around creativity and joyfulness
Our project outcomes:
a workshop plan incorporated into the University Library’s research skills and critical thinking offer. This aligns with the Sheffield Graduates and will enable a sustained, scalable and consistent student offer.
Findings will be disseminated to the student community through the IC Exhibition Space. Our student associates will document and share reflections.
