Attending classes regularly and punctually is not only important for your own success. Not attending or arriving late is disrespectful to your fellow students and to your tutors. It disrupts classroom dynamics and has a negative impact on others' learning. Please take your studies and your fellow students seriously by attending all your taught sessions - whether in person or online - punctually, unless there is a good reason why this is not possible.
It is an expectation of your studies that you attend all timetabled sessions. Attendance is monitored for all scheduled teaching and learning events. You are responsible for signing an attendance register for all sessions. If your attendance falls below the minimum requirement of 80% your personal tutor will be notified and asked to discuss your attendance with you and to establish an action plan to address the problem.
You must notify the Module Coordinator if illness or other valid reasons prevent you attending the course by completing a "Student Sickness Notification Form" or "Application for Leave of Absence Other Than Sickness" Form.
