Integrated Antennas

Antennas are used widely throughout society and we are increasingly reliant on them for our connected infrastructure. In out lab we are looking at how metamaterials can be used to integrate antennas into the structure of objects to improve surface profiles and provide multifunctional properties. The main application area is aerospace, but applications can be found in wider areas including automotive, marine and energy.
