The ACE Team Goal
We're a team of engineering students from the University of Sheffield and we want to show you what engineering really is.
Our aim is to highlight the different roles you could have as an engineer and illustrate why it is so important that the next generation of engineers com diverse backgrounds with a range of life experiences and skills.

Why This Project Is Important To Us
This project is important to us because as engineering students, it helps us to have a clearer idea about the type of work that we enjoy, and therefore a clearer understanding of what career we might like in the future. Not only that, but we feel it will also be useful to people considering engineering as a vocation, and clear some of the misconceptions about engineering. For many of us, the resources we create are ones that we feel would have been useful to have when we were younger.
Sheffield Engineering Leadership Academy develops engineering undergraduate students to become leaders of tomorrow, who create positive impact in research and industry.
The programme recruits talent from the University of Sheffield’s Faculty of Engineering, works with industry partners and academics, and fast tracks the development of engineering leaders with the skills, confidence and aptitude to make a positive difference.
With thanks...
This project would not have been possible without the support of Dr. Gary Wood from SELA and Lisa Cox from Life Compass Consulting
