The DofE is the internationally recognised Award favoured by employers and universities alike.
The Award helps young people to develop the skills and attitudes they need to become more rounded, confident adults. Qualities that colleges, universities and employers are attracted to.
The DofE programmes consist of four to five non-competitive voluntary activities for young people (14-25). There are three levels of DofE programme which require increasingly more time and commitment to complete.
This level is available to anyone aged 14+ and usually takes 6-9 months to complete.
This level is available to anyone aged 15+ and usually takes 6-12 months to complete.
The level is available to anyone aged 16+ and usually takes 12-18 months to complete.
