Year 9 Integrated Studies is a combination of both English and Social Studies.

Course Focus

New Zealand identity
Migration
Government systems
Issues in sustainability

Within these contexts students will learn the skills required to examine short texts, complete a novel study, write both creative and formal pieces and compile visual and oral presentations. There will be particular emphasis on developing Response to Literature essay writing.

Course Contribution: $40 indicative amount, may be subject to change.
