In Year 9 Technology students complete 3 modules over the course of the year that introduce them to each the three specialised Technology subjects offered in the senior school;

• Design and Visual Communication

• Digital Technology

• Textiles

In all three modules students are challenged to apply design thinking in order to solve real world problems within contexts applicable to each individual Technology subject area. Through project based learning students are provided with the opportunity to learn skills native to each subject. Each module builds on previous technological knowledge and prepares students for the Year 10 Technology half year options.
