4th Grade ELA
Fourth graders learned to write persuasive paragraphs. They had to write to a local bakery and persuade them to make their donut. Mrs. Cottone and Mrs. Engdale picked three paragraphs from each class to send to the baker. Lia from Made By Lia selected one student's paragraph from each class and made their donut. The classes enjoyed trying their classmates creation. Congratulations to Julia and Nora!
We visited the Sacred Heart Meseum today in preparation for reading about churches in the Middle Ages in our readers. The students had fun learning about the history of Sacred Heart. They also found pictures of Mrs. Cottone from when she was at Sacred Heart and Mrs. Engdale's Great Grandfather and Great Uncles when they was here.
