Developmental

This is an integral approach using the community organizing and an appropriate combination of the extension programs geared towards the formation of Basic Christian Communities.

Participative

This is an approach that allows the people in the community to get involved in the activities that affect them. Participation in the problem -solving and decision-making is necessary on the building Basic Christian Communities.

Collaborative

This is an approach where the SHC-COP would be involved in the implementation of the extension programs/ projects in partnership and collaborative efforts with the parishes, civil society organizations, and government and non-government agencies.
