Individual Planning: The school counselor will meet individually with all students to support and address student academic, personal, social, and career needs by May 2023.
Guidance: By March 2023, the school counselor will provide career guidance activities appropriate to all students in 9th-12th grade to ensure proper placement in coherent course sequences by providing them with classroom presentations. In addition, school counselors will facilitate lessons on the following topics: Empathy, Self-Control, Self-Respect, Kindness, Perseverance, and Responsible Decision Making.
Responsive Services: By March 2023, Counselors will provide responsive services to all students who are not currently college or career ready. Students will be advised as to the routes available to them on our campus to become college ready-TSI, College Prep Math/English Classes, SAT, AP exams, Dual Credit classes, Industry Based Certifications. This should result in an increase of students being deemed College or Career ready by at least 10%.
System Support: By May 2023, counselors will offer opportunities for community involvement through various Mental Health and Wellness events.

Red Ribbon Week Campaign- Drug and Alcohol Prevention
Guest Speakers to promote drug awareness and prevention.
Career and Technology classroom visits and Parent Nights
College Access Team- College application drives, FAFSA application drives, classroom visits, and Parent Nights
Lesson videos with academic goals and campus related topics
Anti-Bullying Week lesson videos and pledges in cafeteria
Responsive Services:
Responded to counseling referrals submitted by teachers, students, and parents
Staff training on suicide prevention
Staff training on Bullying and Bully Prevention
Met with parents and students in danger of not graduating
Grief and crisis counseling groups for staff and students
Met with students failing classes on their report card and conference with parent
System Support:
