School Counseling

Sharon City School District

The Elementary School Counselors at C.M. Musser, Case Avenue, and West Hill Elementary want you to know that it is our mission to support our students and their families in the areas of social, academic, personal, and career growth.

Dear Families,

Here is a peek at what your Elementary School Counselors have been working on this school year!

We recently revised our Comprehensive K-12 School Counseling Plan and submitted it to the Pennsylvania Department of Education for approval. The process allowed us the opportunity to examine our district's data and set goals to help us meet the needs of our students, families, and community.

We continue to address these needs through our daily practice and connections. We have been into classrooms for lessons and have started working with students individually and in small groups. Career exploration and social-emotional learning (SEL) are topics you will hear more about as the year progresses. We strive to constantly reflect on and improve our practice, these lessons, and experiences as a means to support every student in their social, academic, personal, and career development.

With your help, we look forward to a successful year

Sincerely,

Mrs. Roys, Mr. Schweiss, Mrs. Hammond, and Mrs. Anderson
