Our new Performing Arts Center offically opend in April, 2026 with the Wilson Theater Company performance of "Cinderella."  Featuring a 1,200-seat auditorium with an orchestra pit and professional fly loft, the center provides students with a state-of-the-art venue for music, theater, and media productions. The facility includes dedicated spaces for band, chorus, orchestra, dressing rooms, and stage support, along with a spacious 5,325-square-foot lobby that also serves the adjoining gymnasium. This exciting new space elevates the performing arts experience for our students and the entire community.

On December 22, 2023, the Wilson School District celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Performing Arts Center, marking the start of a transformative journey for our District. The event featured inspiring comments by our students and district officials and beautiful musical performances, all leading up to the symbolic groundbreaking at the new auditorium site.
