Learning Target: Identify resources which can be used for gathering reliable information about nature in Pennsylvania.
Directions : Write the answers in order on paper to be scanned for submission on Classroom.

Name as many animals that are seen as possible. Write them down.
2. Explore: Check out these resources on the web. Explain the mission of each. Identify them. Are they a government organization, or a citizen group? Are they local, statewide or nationwide?

3. Explain: The purpose is to write a short bit about science, using science terms and resources.
Write a paragraph about how some of these organizations could be helpful in finding information about nature in which you would be interested. For example, if you were interested in how to hunt for ducks, which resources could you use, and what types of information would they provide? Your paragraph must be at least six sentences long.
Find some information about PA Nature using these and other resources. Wikipedia is a useful starting place and may be used.
