My goal as a school counselor is help to maximize student success and promote access and equity for all students. As a vital member of the school leadership team, I work each day to help create a school culture of success for all. School counselors help all students: 1. By applying academic achievement strategies 2. By learning to effectively manage emotions and apply interpersonal skills 3. Begin to plan for high school and postsecondary options (higher education, military, work force)

I believe every student is capable of success! Our students are each unique, worthy of dignity and respect. Students at West Middle School regardless of sex, class, socio-economic status, cultural, racial, religion and special needs are accommodated and supported in our school counseling program.
