Meet Mrs. Winter

My name is Mrs. Ashley Winter. This is my seventh year teaching 2nd grade at Whitfield Elementary! I am born-and-raised in Berks County and feel so lucky that I get to teach in the same area. I graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. After working closely in the education field, I decided to return to Kutztown University to earn my first Master of Education in Elementary Education. Recently, I completed my second Master of Education earning my Reading Specialist Certification and Instructional Coaching Endorsement. I was awarded Teacher of the Year for the 2025 School Year. I love teaching -- it truly is who I am to the core.
