Self care is doing things to take care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. When we feel rested, well nourished and cared for, it makes it easier for us to help others. Self care is something that we practice throughout our lives to develop something called resilience. Resilience helps us get through difficult times and bounce back.
There are many ways to do self care. The cool thing is that you are probably already doing some of these things! By choosing to do things that are healthy makes a happier and healthier you.
