THE Rock Battalion Military Ball will be the social event of the season!

When: 6pm-1030pm March 16 2024
Why: Build camaraderie, great food, dance, celebrate Rock Battalion and our Nation!
HOW: 1. Cost PER Cadet is $25.00. Cadets served a delicious salad, entrée & dessert! 2. Each Cadet is allowed ONE Guest at a cost of $25.00. 3. Non-JROTC Guests are allowed and subject to approval of Major Celeste & BPS. 4. Male attire will be the Class A Coat with White Shirt & Bowtie (tie provided by Supply). 5. Female attire will be semi-formal. ALL Attendees are excused from Uniform Day. 6. Non-JROTC Male attire will be Sport coat & Tie or Suit & Tie. 7. Payments may be made by Cash or Check to "Rockledge JROTC Military Ball". 8. Payment window is 22 Feb & ENDS 5 Mar! RSVP Link posts on 7 Feb for choice of meals!
battalion field day
Field Day brought together the entire Rock Battalion for fun, competition and team building! The day started with the National Anthem, a Safety Brief, stretching and then a Battalion Run led by our Battalion Commander. Motivation Check was done on each Company Motto before extra Water Bottles issued to every Cadet.
Events included the 200m Relay, Dodgeball, Kickball, Tug-of-War, Rock Relay and the Drill Obstacle Course. Cadets were able to compete all day and interact with Cadets from different companies while enjoying lunch, music and games! Trophies were awarded for 1st & 2nd Place, Best Dance Company, Best Drill Company & Most Motivated Company. Congrats to our awardees!
MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY ceremony
We commemorated Reverend King's legacy in front of our school at the flagpole. Our Guest Speaker shared his experience as a Veteran, a Law Enforcement Officer and a member of the Buffalo Soldiers motorcycle club. Our Cadet Guest Speaker also spoke of her insight about Reverend King. A powerful rendition of Amazing Grace was played live by bagpipes and complimented our National Anthem sung by Whitney Houston. A joint Color Guard-Saber Team-Flag Detail emphasized the importance of this day.
Mid-year brief
Our Mid-Year Brief allowed the Battalion Staff to update the entire Battalion, the Principal and our Parents on 1st Semester events and what's ahead for 2nd Semester! Presented in our Auditorium, it included Promotions, Awards of Gift Cards to our fastest 1 Mile Cadets, the Oath of Enlistment to SIX Cadets and concluded with the State of the Battalion update from our Senior Army Instructor!
