What is SGF Summer Learning for Students?
This summer, the South Glens Falls CSD will again offer a variety of programs for students of all ages. We began this programming in the summer of 2021 in response to a school year where students missed out on many of the extracurricular activities that are typically offered. We are excited to continue providing opportunities for students to enjoy this growing list of activities free of charge. The format of the programs are listed by subject area. Sign up via email contact or linked sign up sheet. All programs are free!
Bulldog Book Bus Returns
Bulldog Book Bus Returns
Dates: July 8 - August 14, 2025
Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays 9 a.m. - noon
Target Audience: Students in Grades K-5
The Bulldog Book Bus will be circulating on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. - noon. and making three stops at predetermined locations. The Tuesday route will cover the northern part of the school district and the Thursday route will cover one southern part and two northern parts of the school district. Students will be able to enter the library bus and choose books to check out for the week. There will be two teachers/librarians on the bus each day and one volunteer.
