Upcycle Camp - Grades 2-5

The Science of Invention – Grades 6 – 8 

Teacher: Mrs. Harrison

Grade: Any student entering grades 6 and 7 that is excited to learn about Inventors, inventing, and working in cooperative teams.  Students will access a variety of digital resources and invention-themed books. Students will become familiar with inventions in the Middle School, including a behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen! Students will have the opportunity to interview an inventor during a live Google Meet.  Field Trips to the Minne-Ha-Ha Steamboat on Lake George and the miSciPlanetarium in Schenectady are included. Parent Chaperones will be needed.

Max number of students: 15 per session

Time: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (bag lunch required daily)

Dates: Two sessions, Monday, July 17- Friday, July 21 and July 31 - August 4.
