What is SGF Summer Learning for Students?
This summer the South Glens Falls CSD will again offer a variety of programs for students of all ages. We began this programming in the summer of 2021 in response to a school year where students missed out on many of the extracurricular activities that are typically offered. We are excited to provide an opportunity for students to enjoy some of these activities once again.
Bulldog Book Bus Returns
The Bulldog Book Bus will be circulating on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and making 3 stops at predetermined locations. The Tuesday route will cover the northern part of the school district and the Thursday route will cover the southern part of the school district. Students will be able to enter the library bus and choose books to check out for the week. There will be two teachers/librarians on the bus each day and one volunteer.
There is no need to register for this activity! Please see the schedule below and your child can come to any location!

Summer Break Reading Bingo Challenge
Attention all elementary students! Get ready for an exciting summer filled with books, adventures, and the Summer Reading Bingo Challenge!
We've designed this challenge to make reading fun and rewarding during your summer break.
How does it work? It's simple! We have a special bingo card just for you. Each square on the card represents a reading goal or activity. Your task is to complete as many squares as possible over the summer. When you complete a square, color it in.
But that's not all! As you complete lines or even the entire bingo card, you will earn exciting rewards and recognition in September! Ask your parents or guardians to help you keep track of your progress, and don't forget to have fun along the way!
Remember, reading opens doors to new worlds, expands your imagination, and helps you discover the joy of storytelling. So let's dive into the Summer Reading Bingo Challenge and make this summer a memorable reading adventure!
