*8th grade trip to the Cathedral is Wed, May 20th Grade 8 students should wear Special Occasion Uniforms this day for the trip.

The NJHS Induction will be on Wednesday, May 20th 6:30-7:30pm
All current members must attend
New members accepted after the application/interview process will also attend.
Students should wear their Special Occasion Uniforms
*History Fair for Gr. 6-8 is Friday, May 22nd
Students should either wear a costume relavent to their topic or should wear Special Occasion Uniforms this day.
Public viewing of projects is from 1:00-1:45pm
Awards from 1:45-2:00pm
Students will help clean up but can be dismissed afterwards with a guardian who is present if you would like. Please let Mrs. Shaughnessy know if you plan on dismissing after the awards. Thank you.
Important 8th Grade Parent Notices:
Please note: Another Change of Date for the Class of 2026 Picture in graduation gowns. Father Ryan had a conflict with the original May 18 date, so we have to switch the date. Graduation gowns did arrive, but Father's schedule and the weather have pushed the photo day, but now to Thursday, May 28th... so Gr. 8 students will need to wear their Special Occasion uniforms that day. Pray for good weather!
Gr. 8 parents please continue to refer to the memo outlining the end of year events and the deadlines associated with those events. Please reach out to Mrs. Shaughnessy with any questions. Thank you!

SACRED MUSIC CHOIR: Students must attend MONDAYS after school rehearsals to sing in school Mass Choir. A field trip form went home with members re: a nursing home singing adventure happening in November.

Heavenly Father, hear my bedtime prayer.
For everything I enjoyed today, thank you.
For the kindness and help I received from others, thank you.
For the good choices I made today, thank you.
For the times I did something wrong, forgive me.
For the times I hurt others, forgive me
and help me to be better tomorrow.
Stay with me through the night, so I can wake up tomorrow ready to face the day with you by my side.

As the day draws to a close, Lord, I ask for your grace as I reflect upon this day.
Where have I seen light in this day?
Where have I seen hope in this day?
In whom did I see the face of Christ today?
Where might I have missed the face of Christ?
When did I feel called to meet the burdens of others?
When did I have the courage to allow others to meet me in my own burdens?
In gratitude, Lord, for all of the ways you have been faithful to me today, I pray all of these things in the name of your Son, Christ, Our Teacher.
