Here are some resources to help you prepare for Distance Learning in Fall 2020:
Questions about course assignments? Read the SOTA Counseling Dept newsletter for answers to the most common questions.
ParentVUE/StudentVUE/Synergy: Make sure you and your student have accounts so that you can receive course information and communications from SFUSD and SOTA administrators. More info here.
Technology (computer and wireless hot spot): To ensure that every student has a dedicated computer for distance learning (much better than sharing a computer or doing class work on a phone), SFUSD is making laptops and wireless hot spots available for free to all students. Complete the Technology Request Form to request equipment.
Grab & Go student meals: SFUSD Student Nutrition Services will continue to provide nutritious school meals for students. View the list of sites and schedules at sfusd.edu/schoolfood. Free meals are available to students who qualify. If your student is not eligible for free or reduced-price meals, $22.50 per bag will be charged to their SchoolCafe account. Learn more and apply at sfusd.edu/MFIF.
